Jay joined Zachary Scott in 2007. Jay has worked on a variety of assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, debt
and equity financings and distressed projects. Prior to joining the firm, Jay spent six years in various investment
management capacities, most recently as an associate in Bernstein's private wealth management group.
Mr. Schembs received his B.A. in economics and political science from Swarthmore College and is a Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA). He is on the board of the CFA Society of Seattle, and has taught the Society's prep course on
corporate finance. Jay is also the regional alumni coordinator for Swarthmore College.
