Mark co-founded Zachary Scott in 1991. Mark's efforts at Zachary Scott have been focused on a broad range of buy and
sell-side merger and acquisition transactions, financing assignments and strategic advisory work. Mark has an
extensive network of contacts among business owners and executive managers, corporate attorneys, accountants and financial
professionals in the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to founding Zachary Scott, Mark managed Seafirst Bank's Investment Banking Department, where he was responsible
for the Bank's activities in private placements, structured financings, interest rate risk management, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mark received an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Washington and a B.S. degree from the University of California at
Davis. He hosts an annual mentor group of University of Washington M.B.A. students.
