Founded in 1997, H.B. Jaeger Company, LLC is a wholesale waterworks distributor located in Snohomish, Washington with additional full-service locations in Burlington and Tumwater, Washington, allowing the Company to service the greater Seattle, Washington metropolitan area. While H.B. Jaeger specialized in waterworks for the municipality and utilities segment, its distribution centers carried full inventories from a wide range of national vendors and also provided on-site sales as well as delivery options for its over 800 customers.
After being approached by a competitor that desired to acquire H.B. Jaeger, Zachary Scott was engaged as the exclusive financial advisor to represent the shareholders of H.B. Jaeger. Zachary Scott advised the shareholders of H.B. Jaeger on their strategic alternatives, which resulted in a competitive sale process among a variety of industry participants.
A sale of the business was consummated with The Corix Companies, a privately held Canadian firm headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia and a leader in the implementation of sustainable water, wastewater, and energy utility infrastructure solutions for small to medium-sized communities across North America. The acquisition of H.B. Jaeger in Washington state allowed Corix to expand its existing California and Oregon locations to the entire west coast of the United States.
